Fabrizio Ravenelli is set for a shock return to action this weekend after nearly two months out injured. Fabrizio Ravenelli has set a shock comeback for this weekend agaisnt Rotherham after two months out with an achilles problem which needed surgery.

Ravenelli was thought to have played his last game for Derby back in November , but now he has set him self a target and also a goal target to help The Rams up the table.

Speaking to the Rams official website Ravenelli said "It's my target to score ten goals in the last 17 games and if my Achilles stays okay then that will be no problem"

"My surgery was completed on November 25 and I have been working very hard to come back"

"You would normally expect to be out for three months with that type of operation, but I could be back in time for the Rotherham game." Ravenelli also added

Ravenelli is a mercural talent and a quality proffesional and will try his best in what seems to be the remaining months on his contract at Derby.
