Wolves ruined WBA fans weekend as they beat Wimbledon 1-0. Anything other than a win would have seen West Brom promoted but the two midlands teams will have to fight for second spot on Sunday when they West Brom enterain Crystal Palace and Wolves entertain Sheffield Wednesday.

"We had to get three points today and it was a hard-fought three points," he said.

"They (Wimbledon) are not a bad team and they were playing for the play-offs. We are just pleased to get three points.

"Hopefully this puts a bit of pressure on West Brom.

"We cracked up a bit under the pressure and we will see how they react.

"We have got to go to Sheffield Wednesday and get three points and hope West Brom slip up," he told ITV Sport.
