Gary Mcallister has been turned down by John Tigana over a move for John Collins. Gary Mcallister has failed in a bid to bring out of favour midfield powerhouse John Collins to Highfield Road.

Fulham have turned down the request from Mcallister in a time the Scot wants fresh faces to continue pushing for a playoff place.

Sky Blues boss Gray Mcallister said about the approach "I made an enquiry to Fulham about John but was told by the club that's he's not available at this time."

Collins has already turned down approaches from midlands rivals Nottm Forest even though he has only had two apperances this season.
