Derby star Izale Mcleod wants to stay at Pride Park after Derby offered him a new contract.
Young Derby star Izale Mcleod has given his blessing to stay at Pride Park after being in talks about getting a new contract at Derby.
Derby's youth policy this season has been a god send and they have been quick to tie Mcleod to Derby for a lot longer.
Mcleod's agent Gino Culbertson told Planet Football website "We have got a contract and they have offered him a two-year contract."
"There are are a few minor points to resolve, but we should put pen-to-paper next week."
Mcleod has been outstanding this season and has made 17 starts and he is only 18 years of age , the youngster deal was to expire in the summer and coupled with his performances of late Derby see him as a key player long term.
