Brighton have signed Charlton reserve keeper Ben Roberts on a months loan deal. With the injury to Michael Kuipers - Steve Coppell has acted quickly to get Ben Roberts in on loan before the weekend.

The former Boro keeper has not been figureing in the Charlton side this season due to the great form of Dean Keily, and is relishing first team football at Brighton.

Steve Coppell spoke to local paper The Argus he said "He is one of three goalkeepers at Charlton and at the moment nearly all the Premiership clubs are very protective about their goalkeepers.

"It's a little bit of a chance and it will certainly be a testing start for him, but he is looking forward to the challenge."Coppell also added
