Stoke City have been rocked with the news that Clive Clarke will be out for 2 months with a knee injury. Clive Clarke finally thought his injury woes were over when he regained fitness to start the season and he stated he was playing really well , but the news that he could be out for two months is a massive blow to Stoke and himself.

Clarke scored the Stoke equaliser on Saturday but on Sunday his fears were comprehended , he said to the official website " It's very frustrating for me because I was injured in pre-season and it took me a while to catch up from that."

"I felt I was just getting back to my best and now I'm injured again and facing another spell out - it is hard to swallow.
"I'm gutted because after a bad spell we look like we are turning things around now and there is going to be an upturn - and I wanted to be part of that." a despondant Clarke said.

With Stoke's season a little dark and patchy at the moment, this news will not do the moral any good, and Stoke fans will be thinking can anything else bad happen.
