Hull have had their bid for Rotherham striker Richie Barker rejected by the South Yorkshire club. Barker has failed to make a League start this season but Miller's boss Ronnie Moore told the clubs official site that the forward is still in his plans.

"Richie is a valuable member of our squad as he is the natural back-up for Alan.

"I wouldn't be able to find a replacement for him for the kind of money Hull might want to pay."

Barker scored the last minute winner against Sheffield Wednesday earlier this month.
