West Brom and Crewe Take The Tuesday Stand

It's the biggest game so far for the teams of Crewe and West Brom as both teams need those points up for tonight. West Brom are hoping to close the gap on Wolves in second place so they won't have to use the play-offs to get out of the league. While Crewe need it so they can stay in the league.

Tuesday Game: 26/4/2002

Crewe take on West Brom at the Hawthorns hoping totake 3 vital points while West Brom will need the points to stay in the running totake 2nd spot. If West Brom fail to win it would meanMan City will be promoted on Saturday if they beat Forest while Wolves could take another step towards promotion.

Crewe have 3 first team players out for the game, with Brammer, Vaughan and Walton all injured. Also sub keeper Bankole and super star defender are away with Nigeria for a friendly game against Porugal as they make one last attempt to book a place in the World Cup.

West Brom meanwhile will be 3 points off Wolves if they win. They only have one injury and thats Andy Johnson.
