Leeds grabbed a late equaliser to come away with a point against Ipswich last night. Leeds dominated early on, but couldn't turn their pressure into goals. Ipswich slowly got back into the game, and there was little to choose between the teams for the last 15 minutes. Leeds had looked the most dangerous though, with Ipswich keeper Supple denying Hulse on a couple of occasions.

The second half started in explosive style for Ipswich, and Danny Haynes grabbed a good goal early on. Matt Richards put him through, and Haynes accelerated away from the Leeds defense, and finished in style. It was all Ipswich now, as Leeds looked stunned - Haynes went close again, hitting the post after jinking past Butler.

As the half wore on, Leeds started to get a foothold back in the game, and in the last 5 minutes forced as series of corners. From one of these, an Ipswich hand shot up, and a penalty kick was given. The Ipswich players were furious, claiming a push from Hulse - they may have had a point, but the decision stood, and Healy, a sub for Liam Miller, fired home, to earn a well deserved point.
