Leeds v Stoke - match preview

Leeds face stoke tomorrow evening on the back of their worst home performance of the season. Kevin Blackwell may well ring the changes after an ineffective showing on Friday night. Most likely for a recall is Michael Ricketts who looked sharp in the 15 minutes he was on – Brian Deane is expected to make way. Battling to partner him is Ormerod, Joachim and Danny Cadamartari, although Blackwell is likely to stick with the on loan Ormerod. In midfield, Matthew Spring is pushing for a start, and the manager may be temped to put him in and move Wright to right side of midfield – Fraser Richardson may be rested after looking tired in that Sunderland game.

The most disappointing aspect of that defeat to the Mackems was the lack of shots – Ormerods missed penalty the only one on target in the entire 90 minutes. KB will be hoping that the players lift themselves and produce a much improved performance to lift them back into the top half of the table…
