Leeds part company with acadamy coaches

It has been rumoured this week that Leeds have parted company witht their acadamy coaches. Neale Sheldon has sent me the following as to when and why... No official word from the club yet... Latest Leeds news on sacking of backroom staff Warren Joyce and Pop Robson

They were given 12 months notice on Monday, along with Steve Sutton. They are now deciding whether to stay or accept a settlement and leave now.
One of the reasons is that the Academy will only run one side next year because the league is being re-structured. The coaches were on rolling contracts and apparently someone "forgot" to address the matter last August when they first knew the situation.
