Leeds produced a performance that indicated that some of the players haven’t the heart or the fight for a relegation battle. We now have a major problem, and there is a 5 point gap between us and safety We don’t look like we know where the goal is, and we are in trouble. Spurs deservedly won the game, and typically it was old boy Robbie Keane doing the damage, when he pounced on a quick free kick. The visitors could have had more, but Robinson saved well on a few occasions. Eddie Gray must be pulling his hair out, as the players are not playing with any confidence at all. Spurs are, at the moment, not a sstrong side by their standards. They are struggling in the table, and have been poor away from home. They have some good players, but also some average ones – they are, however, on this performance, miles ahead of us. They fully deserved to win the game, and 1-0 flatterd us. It was a very poor performance from the home side, with only a handful of players emerging with any credit – Viduka had a good first half, but he was withdrawn at half time for personal reasons. He flew back to Australia yesterday as his father is seriously ill, and he may be gone some time. Duberry and Kilgallon can’t really be faulted, and Robinson was good in goal. Pennant tried, but the rest were poor. Nick Barmby got his first start for 9 months, and to be fair, showed some nice touches, and had our best chance.
