Leeds go into tonights cup clash still reeling from the results announced this morning. Although the losses were widely anticipated, it still makes grim reading in black and white. Peter Reid will. I’m sure, be happy to return to football matters this evening. Jermaine Pennant is unavailable due to part of the loan deal agreed with Arsenal, whilst David Batty is rested ahead of the visit of the Gunners on Saturday. Matteo is struggling with a knock, and Jody Morris is still under a club suspension. Roque Junior is likely to be recalled, possibly in a central midfield role. Ian Harte is available again after a suspension, and Michael Bridges is hopeful of shaking of a slight strain, and could come into contention up front. The wide roles will be taken up by two from Barmby, Lennon, Sakho, Milner and Wilcox, as Reid shuffles his pack. The visitors will field a weakened team, with Keane missing out, but some of the bg guns are included, with Van Nistlerooy hoping to get on the scoresheet after a few goaless games.
