Newspapers are today reporting more information on the alleged Sex Assault involving a Leeds United player on Monday evening. Here on Unofficial Leeds United we bring you an update on this latest incident to hit Leeds United.
Following the Yorkshire Evening Posts' decision to reveal
Jody Morris as the Leeds player to be arrested, a number of other sources have
also now gone public.
The Sun newspaper says a number of Leeds United players had spent Monday evening drinking in 'The Townhouse' in Leeds City Centre. The haunt is popular with students on
Mondays due to reduced drinks promotions. The alleged victim had also been
in the Townhouse and is said accepted a lift home.
The inquiry was launched when the woman told police she had been attacked after accepting a lift in a car.
She claimed that the car stopped at a layby a mile from its destination and she was molested.
A second man being interviewed by the Police is said by the Sun tp be Kristofer Dickie, one of Morris's friends. Two other Leeds players are reported to have been spoken to as potential witnesses and no complaint has been made about them.
