Leeds could soon be losing the services of Jermaine Pennant. The Arsenal man’s loan expires on the 18th October, and the two clubs are having talks about extending the deal. Leeds could soon be losing the services of Jermaine Pennant. The Arsenal man’s loan expires on the 18th October, and the two clubs are having talks about extending the deal. However, an injury crisis, and disciplinary problems at Highbury could mean the right winger being recalled to the Gunners. Arsenal are facing a probe into the melee at Old Trafford when the sides met last month, and they have several stars facing bans, including right sided Parlour and Lauren. With Ljunberg injured, the powers that be may choose to recall Pennant rather than leave themselves short. Pennant would be happy to stay at Leeds, but the chance to establish himself at Highbury will obviously prove a challenge. Jermaine has proved a big hit with the Leeds fans, and after a couple of indifferent performances, bounced back to form against Blackburn at the weekend. Leeds do have exciting youngsters Aaron Lennon and James Milner, both who can play wide on the right, ready to cease the opportunity should Pennant return. A decision will be made in the next couple of weeks…
