Batty is back. The Leeds favourite is sure to receive a fantastic reception from the Elland Road faithfull, as Leeds look to put the dissapointments of the last week behind them on wednesday night. David Batty will make his first start for 18 months when he lines up against Swindon tomorrow night in the Carling Cup (or League cup as we like to know it). Batts will start, as will loan signing Cyril Chapuis, who will be making his debut. Peter Reid has named these two starters as he wants to let the fans know that there will be changes. He has hinted that there may be more, but has yet to disclose them. Definitely missing are Jermaine Pennant who is not allowed to play as part of his loan agreement, and Mark Viduka who is rested to allow Chapuis a start. Michael Bridges is set to be named on the bench for the first time this season, as the ex Sunderland striker is now fully fit, and just in need of games. Other fringe players who will come into contention are Nick Barmby, Aaron Lennon, Didier Domi and Jason Wilcox, as Reid may look to keep some of them sharp. It is unlikely that Seth Johnson or Dominin Matteo will be risked, so Roque Junior and Olembe should keep their places. It will be far from a capacity Elland Road, but at £10 a ticket, Leeds should have around 25,000 fans inside the ground.
