Mark Viduka, Paul Okon and Jermaine Pennant all featured in friendly Internationals last night. Australia met Rep.of Ireland whilst England U21 played Croatia U21.

Leeds striker, Mark Viduka was on the score sheet last night as Australia were beaten 2-1 against the Republic of Ireland in a friendly at Lansdowne Road.  Former ER favourite, Robbie Keane was stretchered off just before half time with suspected ligament damage.  Ian Harte came off the bench and set up both of the Republic's goals. Paul Okon also played in the game but was substituted after 67 minutes.

In other Internationals, loan target, Jermaine Pennant was sent off during the England U21 international against Croatia U21.  Pennant appeared to throw a punch aimed at Niko Kranjcar on 61 minutes and the Referee went straight for the red card - this follows an incident with the U21 squad in April of this year when Pennant was sent home early from a training camp for breaking a Curfew.   The U21 team lost 3-0.

The senior squad play Croatia tonight with only two Leeds players named in the (small) squad.  Paul Robinson can only hope for a place on the bench at best with David James confirmed to start and Danny Mills, dropped by Peter Reid for the Leeds opener to the season is hoping the England coach will keep faith with him.  Mills has started the last  three Internationals for Eriksson but was substituted before half time during the last game.
