Transfer Round up

With less than a fortnight to the end of the transfer window, I'm taking this chance to round up the potential ins and outs at Elland Road So who's coming in

So who's coming in? Jermaine Pennant is likely to sign on a two month loan deal after he has played for the England under 21's tonight. A deal is likely on Thursday, although there have been no confirmation that there will be an option to sign he winger. Numancia's 21 year old defender Carlos Cuellar is another that Peter Reid is looking at, and the Spanish centre back is due for a short trial this week. Sheffield Utd duo Michael Brown and Phil Jagielka have also been linked for a while now, but the trail seems to have gone a bit cold. This weekend also saw us linked to Nottingham Forest's Marlon Harewood, but any move for a striker is likely to depend on the future of Mark Viduka

This brings us nicely to departures, and who is to leave. It is no secret that Paul Okon and Nigel Martyn have both been told they can leave should they find another club. It is unlikely that Leeds would stand in the way of Nick Barmby either, whilst there are question marks over the futures of full backs Ian Harte and Danny Mills. Mark Viduka is another big name player who could be on his way, with his agent doing everything possible to engineer a move for the big number 9. There is a lot of activity behind the scenes at Elland Road, and there will most definitely be some movement before the transfer window snaps shut at the end of this month, opening again in the New Year.
