Summer Signings Start - Eventually

Almost three months after the end of the season, and with just five days to go before Leeds United kick off their new campaign in League One, Manager, Dennis Wise has finally been able to start assembling his squad. Two signings have been confirmed so far with more expected to be announced in the coming days.

The first signing was a popular one with fans as Casper Ankergren, the keeper that spent the final third of last season on loan with Leeds, put pen to paper on a three year contract and immediately featured for 45 minutes in a pre-season friendly v Guiseley that Leeds lost 2-0.

 Leeds have also confirmed that Leon Constantine has signed a two year deal.  The former Port-Vale striker has worked with the club during pre-season and although he picked up a slight Ankle injury that has kept him out of the final stages, he obviously did enough to impress the White boss.

Expect further signings to follow.
