Reid rumours gathering pace

There are a growing number of reports that Leeds could be about to sign Andy Reid from Premiership team, Tottenham Hotspurs. A deal in the region of £2m is beleived to be the key to prising the winger away from Spurs. Blackwell has long been a fan and Spurs have been trying to recruit a replacement for his position throughout the summer and it looks like a deal is immenent.

Nothing has been confirmed by either club but with Bates at the helm for Leeds, you wouldn't expect anything else. If confirmed, this will be by far Blackwells biggest signing and on top of the other players joining the club over the summer, Leeds are demonstrating that their push for the top this year is becoming more and more determined.
