RamsTrust Campaign

The RamsTrust Board met last evening and unanimously decided to appeal to the Co-operative Bank to work effectively towards a transfer of ownership. We are also asking them to make a statement to tell supporters the exact current position with interested parties.

This will take the form of providing online mails direct from the website to the Co-op Bank, cut out and send coupons in the Trader and a MAJOR leafletting campaign before the next game.

The introduction to this will be a DET column (hopefully, always tricky on a Bank Holiday especially where there are several days of summer sport to cover, we may not be given the space this week)

There is to be NO PROTEST against LP personally and NO protest in the stadium which would affect the team.

RamsTrust Board consider this to be a responsible and useful way of highlighting the current impasse and of persuading the Bank to make constructive progress.

We believe that this is not only working with the Club but could also prove to be helpful to the Club in moving things along and helpful to potential new investors in supporting their efforts to make progress with the Bank.

If YOU could help with leafletting for half an hour before the game, please mail supporters@ramstrust.org or ring 0870 4321 871 and leave a voicemail message and we will get back to you telling you where to collect your leaflets.

The on-line petition is now up and running at www.ramstrust.org - please go and tell the Bank how you feel. You may need to refresh your browser.

Thanks

The RamsTrust Board
