Coventry Telegraph 'Fanzone' contributors were asked to give their opinions on the season so far. Below is mine!

How have City done to what you expected in August?

I always start the season full of optimism, but I think this is better than even I would have hoped for!  Four months in, and I'm still enjoying it - what a novelty! Quality manager, quality signings, quality football.
 
How do you rate the job Tony Mowbray is doing? 

If he sticks around for a few seasons, and continues as he currently is, he'll end up with a statue next to the Jimmy Hill one! The loyal supporters deserve to see some success, and so far he's threatening to deliver some.
 
Best signing of the season?
 
Not possible to select one! Vincelot for his work-rate; Armstrong for his goals; Ricketts because he is the experienced calm head the team needs; Murphy because, when he's on form, he's clearly too good for this division .... they've all contributed! This season has been a proper team effort.
 
Best moment of the season so far? 
 
Probably the come-back versus Peterboro. 0-2 down, win 3-2. The buzz outside the ground when the final whistle had blown was fantastic. Murphy's hat-trick was up there too, as there are one or two that seem keen to knock him - this silenced them, and rightly so.
 
Worst moment? (has there been one?) 
 
Being knocked out of all cup competitions before November was over, so being denied the fixture so many want to see. The league is far more important, obviously, but a little run in one of the cups would have been nice. No worries, as we could be playing Aston Villa next season anyway!
 
Biggest disappointment so far this season? 
 
We're still conceding a few sloppy goals. That said, if there's room for improvement, and those improvements are made, we will be promoted.
 
Sum up the season so far in one line 
 
The best we've had for a very long time!
 
Where will City finish the season? 
 
If we don't finish Top 6, I'll be disappointed, but, if we can keep - or suitably replace - Armstrong and Kent (Fingers crossed they stay!), first or second. Could probably do without the stress of the play-offs, but I'd take it if it meant promotion, and a few thousand supporters coming back.
