Leon Clarke Signs

Leon Clarke has signed for Coventry City, on loan, until the necessary paperwork has been completed for him to become a fully fledged Sky Blues player.

Clarke will sign for two-and-a-half years, though it is still unsure as to whether this is to replace McGoldrick (Who is still talking to, amongst others, Coventry City), or to partner him.

Clarke made his debut as a second half substitute in today's defeat against Shrewsbury, almost scoring with his first touch.

Clarke stated he does not see filling McGoldrick's boots as a problem, as he has scored almost as many goals as the possibly departing player, despite not playing for the last month....
