Head-To-Head, Recent Form, Team News, and the Latest Betting Odds, ahead of today's League One fixture between Doncaster and Coventry City.

The two sides have only ever met in league matches, and have played each other 18 times, with Doncaster winning six times, Coventry City winning 6 times, and 6 matches being drawn.

Doncasters’s win at the Ricoh in April was their first victory over CCFC in seven fixtures (Three draws, three defeats previously). Coventry City have failed to win away at Doncaster in six attempts (An 88th minute goal two seasons ago stopped CCFC righting this wrong).

Doncaster are 11/8 with betfred to win, with Coventry City at 2/1. The draw is 9/4.

McGoldrick is 5/1 favourite to score first, with Hayter second favourite at 6/1. Brown 11/2, and Hume and Blake are 13/2, with the injured Callum Ball and Cody McDonald at 8/1 for Coventry City. McSheffrey is 17/2, as is – somehow – O’Donovan. The retired Kevin Kilbane is 16/1, while the re-called to Wolves Jamie Reckord is 40/1.

Sammy ‘Sideways’ Clingan is 20/1 to score against his old club, which would mean having to actually move the ball in a forward direction….

A 0-0 score-line is 9/1, 1-1 is 5/1, 1-0 to Doncaster is 13/2 and to Coventry is 8/1, 2-1 to Doncaster is 8/1 and to Coventry 10/1. Coventry to win 4-1 is 50/1. Half-time/full time odds are: Doncaster/Doncaster 11/4, Doncaster/Coventry 33/1, Coventry/Coventry 4/1, Coventry/Doncaster 28/1.

Doncaster have failed to win any of their last three fixtures, including an FA Cup and a JPT fixture, but had won four consecutive League One matches before those results. Coventry City have won their last three away League One fixtures.

Coventry City have scored at least one goal a game in every match since losing 2-0 away at Tranmere on September 15th.

Nicked stat: Coventry have scored in each of their last 15 games, the longest current scoring run in the division; Doncaster have kept three clean sheets in their last five games, and conceded only two goals.

Harsh but fair! Scrub that, just fair! He's got the talent, but has been a waste of a shirt for ages. From Championship captain to League One substitute. How the not-so-might have fallen....
