In what was probably/hopefully his last game as Coventry City manager, Richard Shaw – when he finally did manage to find words to describe this evening’s latest disgrace – stated the performance was ‘poor’, and said the players had a ‘lack of motivation, a lack of desire’.

No Sh*t Sherlock!

There was criticism for Murphy, Edjenguele, and Wood, and Shaw admitted he did ‘does not understand why players are so scared on the pitch’. Scared? Or sulking?

Shaw also went on to say the display was ‘disappointing’, and in a further ‘No Sh*t Sherlock!’ contender, stated ‘the players have not delivered tonight’.

Shaw admitted to feeling let down, and went on to add: ‘the players have let themselves down, and let the supporters down.’ NSS!

When asked if this was his last game in charge of the club (It should be), he said he was unsure. Four league games, four league defeats, speaks for itself as a record.

Shaw claimed: ‘we need stability at this football club’, and, when asked if we had the right players, he said he ‘wasn’t the person to ask….’
