Bookies are giving Coventry City less chance than a doughnut at a Fat Club in tomorrow's final match of the season (Said potential final humiliation is being screened live on TV), with accumulator bets backing the away side resulting in some serious winnings should it happen*.

Coventry City are a massive 10/1 to win, while Southampton are 1/3 to win. The draw is 19/4.

Twelve Southampton players are on the first scorer list before a Coventry City player gets a look-in (Unsurprisingly, Lambert at 9/4, and Sharp at 10/3, are favourites), with Mick Channon probably at lower odds than the first Sky Blue names on the list, which are Platt, McDonald, and McSheffrey, at 16/1. Hussey and Christie are 100/1, while Cranie is 125/1.

Just to show how far apart the bookies rate the two sides: Saints to win 1-0 is 13/2, Coventry to win 1-0 is 28/1; Saints 2-0 is 11/2, Coventry 2-0 is 80/1; Saints 2-1 is 17/2, Coventry 2-1 is 33/1. The bookies actually think Southampton are more likely to win 5-0, 28/1, than 3-2, 30/1 (As that would obviously mean Coventry City scoring twice!).
