With less than a month to go till the new season starts, rumours that Coventry City are set to be bought out or go bust continue....

Gary Hoffman is still trying to take over the club (Despite the fact he is a Coventry City fan, the way he is going about is business isn't going down well with supporters), or Russian money is coming to the club. Leeds want Sammy Clingan; Southampton want Lucas Jutkiewicz. Both clubs can do one. Coventry City have also failed in their bid to bring in Dani Pacheco.

Proving that the funds available to Andy Thorn are less than nil, Coventry City's (fairly) new manager has been proving he's got a career in politics should he fail in football, with more positive spin about what is going on at the club than even the most deluded of Coventry City supporters can manage.
