An Andy Marshall error two minutes into injury time denied Coventry City what would have been a superb F.A. Cup victory, for the second season in a row, at Ewood Park.
Quality strikes from Gunnarsson - his first goal for the club - and Doyle, over-turned Santa Cruz's early strike, but Samba pounced on a goalkeeping error to break the hearts of the thousands of Coventry City supporters who had made the journey.
Blackburn also had two goals correctly cancelled out, the first for shirt pulling, the second for a blatant offside. That said, Coventry could and should have put the game out of sight before then.
Full report to follow.
