Imps beat Middlesbrough to even up pre-season record

Lincoln City made it 3 wins and 3 defeats from the six pre-season games so far after beatin Middlesbrough at Sincil Bank.

Following a 2-0 defeat to Sunderland at Sincil Bank a few nights ago, many Imps fans will have been keen to see a win on home turf and goals from Adi Yussif and Ben Tomlinson secured a 2-1 win for the Imps over a young Middlesbrough side.

Both are new signings and Yussif in particular has impressed many during the pre-season, and despite many only initially seeing him as a back up player, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him in the starting XI in two weeks.

And it appears Foster is very close to signing as well which is really good news.
Pity only 493 went.

Oh, I would be very pleased if Foster signed.

I think a lot didn't go, myself included, because it was a high price to play a team of players who aren't even in their first team.

Indeed Kate, charging a tenner to watch us play u21 sides is very wrong I haven't been to either because of this and the kick off times wont of helped as well.
£6 on Tuesday so might go as I'm interested to see how seriously Scunny will take it with the league season starting on Saturday.

Here we go again!

I know attendance doesn't seem great but check out other teams attendances for home friendlies. 25% of the usual crowd is not as bad as it sounds.

Think be nearer 1,000 on Tuesday and Saturday though
