It's Colwyn Bay in the trophy for City

Lincoln City will travel to Colwyn Bay in the first round of the FA Trophy after they won their replay against FC Halifax Town. It means that the Imps will now have to travel to Wales for a third Saturday in four, although City will be favourites against a midtable team from the division below with an average home record.

Halifax missed an early penalty before McLachlan slotted one home for Colwyn Bay. Baker pulled Halifax level before Colwyn Bay went back into the lead near enough straight away. Danny Lloyd was sent off late on for Colwyn.

Colwyn have recently been given an ultimatum by the Blue Square North, with new ground regulations standing that each ground at that level must have a minimum of four rows of seats, with the Seagull's only having three rows. They are currently 13th in the Blue Square North with a record of 5 wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats from their nine home games so far this season, one of those defeats being a 6-1 mauling at the hands of Altrincham.

It means that the Imps will now travel to north Wales on Saturday 10th for the first round game. It will be the third Saturday in four weeks where City have an away game in Wales. 11 days ago the Imps lost at Wrexham and we have a relegation six-pointer at Newport on Saturday.
