Lincoln City gave away three second half goals as Fleetwood Town came from behind to take three points from Sincil Bank. Josh O'Keefe had given City the lead before Anyon made three good parried saves that fell to completely unmarked and untracked attacking players.

Ryan Jackson gave Fleetwood an encouraging start as he fired wide within seconds of the kick off. Milligan his a 25 yard free kick well over the bar before City forced Jamie McGuire to almost score an own goal as he chested an Adam Watts cross just wide of his own goal.

Power tried to catch out Scott Davies as he hit a 40 yard free kick towards goal, with the goalkeeper having to run backwards to catch the ball. Wassmer headed wide after 20 minutes from a corner before Sam Smith hit over from 25 yards. Power had an effort tipped over the bar and Watts headed wide from the resulting corner.

McCallum broke free of Fleetwood's defence and his cross only just evaded Smith before Alan Power crossed in a ball near the end of the half, O'Keefe headed it back across goal and after seemingly taking an age, it went into the net and beyond the slow reacting Davies. It ended the half.

Smith hit a shot just wide at the beginning of the second half. Fleetwood did quickly equalise in the second half as Vardy broke the offside trap, he ran into the box and shot at Anyon. The goalkeeper made a decent save but none of the three defenders who had gone back tracked Jackson and he his the parry into the net to bring Fleetwood level.

Chances weren't coming often and O'Keefe's header going just wide in the 65th minute was his last action as Grant Brown bought on Tony Sinclair for him, meaning five defenders on the pitch and the five defenders all stood and watched as Vardy was again denied by an Anyon save, with the completely unmarked Andy Mangan proding in to make it 2-1.

It wasn't long before it was 3-1 as it was deja vu. Brodie hit an effort that was met by the completely unmarked Jackson. He again scored whilst there were five defenders in the box and all three goals had been exactly the same.

Fuseini replaced Christophe before Brodie was booked for fouling Nelson. Vardy had an effort saved by Anyon before Smith was denied by Davies for his last action of the match, being replaced by Perry.

On another day none of Anyons saves would have fallen to their players, yet they did today. I dont blame Anyon, at least he saved them.

Fleetwood have spent and it shows. Their two centre backs, particularly Wassmer, didn't put a foot wrong all game, and never looked under any serious pressure. IMHO they will be top three, as they were the blueprint of what a BSP team should be - fast - ruthless - obnoxious - superbly fit and clinical.

We looked like a lower third team, and I think that is where we will end up. Having said that, I commend their efforts today, but class told in the end.

If we don't replace that sorry excuse of a central defence we currently have we'll be shown up time and time again this season. I don't want to hear money is tight, we can't afford to carry on with the likes of Hone and Watts in our defence. They're seriously no better then pub players and I really don't think that's an exageration.

Please don't tell me the likes of Tamworth, Telford, H and Y, Braintree etc are spending more than us. But surely we can all agree they have a defence that at least has some sort of idea what it's on the field for.

I'm so angry with these clueless idiots robbing a living from our club, but I'm almost certain we'll either keep them or replce them with an even cheaper even worse option, we're a mess.

Are these other teams being bigged up to make us look a little less stupid? Triffic Tamworth, Mighty Braintree and Fab Fleetwood. Which particular giant is next to visit?

Agree, one of the goals if not all reminded me of the night we played Rotherham. Centre half looking as if he had never played football before.

I want Adam Watts to succeed but Fleetwood in the second half ran at him time and time again. In the friendly against Boston they did the same.

I dont know about appointing a new manager, i think Grant Brown and Steve Thompson had better start as centre backs.

Fleetwood are backed by a multi millionare ,Brodie cost 100k for a loan from Crawley.
Thats something we could nevere compete with even if we were still in the league.
