Steve Tilson has strengthened Lincoln's midfielder by signing Tom Kilbey on loan from Portsmouth. The midfielder is a replacement for Luke Howell after the former MK Dons man had a reoccurance of the hamstring injury during the game at Stevenage.

It's transfer deadline day at Sincil Bank and City have made a signing in the form of midfielder Tom Kilbey on loan from Portsmouth. The 20 year old midfielder only made his debut for Portsmouth three months ago and has remained on the fringes after progressing through the youth ranks at Fratton Park. His loan is due to Luke Howell reinjurying his hamstring just 14 minutes into his return at Stevenage last Saturday

He will make his debut in tomorrow night's game against Rotherham United.

Meanwhile, Lincoln are still looking for a goalkeeper to cover the departure of Trevor Carson. The Imps have until 5pm to complete any transfer or loan request.
