In our usual look at the bottom of League One and the top of the Blue Square, the latter produced a shock result as Grimsby came from behind to beat leaders AFC Wimbledon, a result that leaves the door well and truly open for Crawley Town. Meanwhile, Plymouth picked up a massive win at Sheffield Wednesday.

Crawley were red hot favourites for the title before Saturday's events due to a massive amount of games in hand and they did their part by winning 5-0 at home to bottom side Histon. Tubbs, Smith, Simpson, Hunt and Gibson securing the victory for the southerners, however, even they must have been surprised as two goals from Michael Coulson saw midtable also-rans Grimsby come from behind to beat AFC Wimbledon. It now leaves Crawley just one point behind with six games in hand

Luton Town are only a further eight points back with five games in hand after a 1-1 draw with a Kidderminster side who now sit fifth in the table after a recent run of good results. At this stage, it'd take a brave man to back Wimbledon to end the season by winning promotion.

The other team in the Playoffs also won as Wrexham beat Forest Green 2-1. Fleetwood also kept up the pressure on the top five with a win after former Playoff chasers Newport. The Welsh side have seriously fallen out of form since Dean Holdsworth left and now only a miracle run would see them stand even a remote chance of making the Playoffs. York, Darlington, Rushden and Grimsby are all within ten points of the top five and all have played less games than fifth placed Kidderminster.

Whilst there was a shock result in the Blue Square Premier, there was a mild surprise at the bottom of League One as Plymouth won 4-2 at Sheffield Wednesday to keep in with a chance of reaching safety, that's assuming they're not wound up due to massive debts.

The four teams directly above Plymouth all met each other. Bristol Rovers's slump continued with a 2-0 home defeat to Dagenham and Redbridge, moving the London club up to 21st, whereas Swindon drew 0-0 with Walsall. Dagenham still have a good chance of avoiding the drop as they have four games in hand on Walsall and are just three points behind the Saddlers.

Yeovil, Trambere, Notts County and Sheffield Wednesday could all get dragged into the battle if they're not careful, although all have played less games than everyone in the relegation zone, with the exception of Dagenham.
