Anderson training with Grimsby

Joe Anderson's career at Sincil Bank appears to be drawing to a close after he was allowed to train with Grimsby Town. Despite it only initially being viewed as a potential loan move, many would be surprised if he ever plays for the Imps again.

Anderson joined the Imps last January from Fulham and quickly fell foul of the Sincil Bank boo boys, that despite not actually playing that badly initially. He was a near ever present under Chris Sutton but has rarely played since Steve Tilson took over, making his one and only appeared in the game at Northampton this calendar year.

A move to Ebbsfleet fell through but Anderson is now training with Grimsby Town, it will initially be a loan move to cover former Imp Lee Ridley, although it wouldn't surprise many if it turned out Anderson's days at Sincil Bank were numbered.
