Stockport lose goalkeeper ahead of game

Lincoln City's weekend six pointer against Stockport has taken a twist with the news that Owain Fon Williams have left the Hatters. Whilst City have bought in a new goalkeeper, Stockport have lost their's to Rochdale.

Owain Fon Williams was the only reason City didn't beat Stockport back in October, producing numerous brilliant saves to deny the Imps. Just two days before one of the biggest games of the season for both City and Stockport, it seems unusual that Stockport would sell their goalkeeper now. He was the last line of a defence that has come under heavy criticism this season, conceding a whopping 57 goals in just 26 games, even Lincoln's defence isn't that rubbish.

He has joined Rochdale and means that Stockport will more than likely be fielding the vastly experienced Matt Glennon, whom has played at this level with Carlisle, Hull and Bradford.

Turns out that Fon-Williams is the second choice goalkeeper this season, meaning we're facing the goalkeeper who has conceded @#$%& loads of goals this year.

Good Luck, Mr Gorsky

Merely interested as I used to see you at virtually every home game, albeit from a distance, but haven't seen you in ages. You normally go to Shrewsbury but we didn't see you there either. Or Chesterfield. So I just wondered if you had watched them at all this season.

We'll be passing your place later...
