The rest of League Two survives

Lincoln City vs Oxford United appears to be one of just three victims in the entire Football League of the weather. The match is the only League Two fixture that is currently postponed and means that the Imps will have an interesting day of result watching ahead.

With City already having games on hand on virtually everyone around them, with the exception of Southend whom have only played 17, City know that this afternoon could turn out to be fairly profitable for the Imps. All the teams around us have difficult fixtures and City could easily end the day with two games in hand and a comfortable situation indeed.

Bottom placed Hereford face Bradford and will remain in the relegation zone regardless of their result. Barnet host Accrington Stanley, Morecambe host top of the the table Port Vale and Stockport host playoff-chasing Crewe. None of the teams below us have easy games and with Barnet already playing one more game than the Imps, it could easily turn out to be a case of City still being three points clear with two games in hand. It would take a draw for Stockport and Morecambe, as well as a win of at least three goals for Barnet, for City to finish the day in the relegation zone.

Above City sees Southend face Burton, two teams within three points of City. Northampton travel to Stevenage and Gillingham travel to Macclesfield.
