O'Flynn keen on signing new Barnet deal

Lincoln City's search for a goal-hungry striker could be set to continue after a Barnet website's claims that O'Flynn is very keen to sign a new contract with the Bees. The Imps have been heavily linked to the striker in recent weeks, although it had seemed that Gillingham were the favourites for his signature.

According to Barnet Mad, The Barnet Times have stated today O'Flynn is keen on another year at Underhill. Looking on the Barnet Times website shows no indication of any such article, however, with their news stories on the website being only a paragraph long each (and if you assume that the Barnet Times' articles are longer than a paragraph), this could well be the case.

O'Flynn has been linked with the Imps and Gillingham in recent weeks, but now it appears as though O'Flynn is prepared to give that Bees one more year before moving on.

If this was the case, it would be yet another blow for the Imps after missing out on Tadgh Purcell earlier in the week.

Maybe they can offer a better now they have sold Adamoah and got Jarrett off the wage bill too.
Bit odd though.

Maybe he thinks that last season was a one-off for Barnet and isn't convinced that Gillingham will do well (which a lot of people seem to assume) and that he isn't prepared to move away from the London area (hence why he rejected Shrewsbury last year).

Good Luck, Mr Gorsky
