A-Team v Cleckheaton Preview

EARTH Titans A-team take on Cleckheaton in the next instalment of their league campaign at Clifton Lane on Saturday (kick-off 2 pm). The Titans currently top the league having won all six of their games. Cleckheaton are bottom having lost all of their games to date.

The A-team will be looking to consolidate their position at the top of the NCA North Merit Table with a convincing win against Cleckheaton. Although they must be considered favourites, they are taking nothing for granted and have selected a strong line-up.

The U21s' first game of the season at Cambridge University, on the same day, makes squad selection uncertain. Gareth Morley, Duncan Richardson, Will Kirtley and Tom Outram will all be on duty with the Academy side in Cambridge.

For the A-team game, Charlie Spon-Smith is expected to come in at flyhalf, Charlie Hands at centre and the front row - Jamie Kilbane, Adam Hopcroft and Sam Walsh - are all expected to start after benching for the first team on Friday evening.
