The Pirates went ahead after six minutes when centre Duncan Bell went over for an unconverted try.

Alberto Di Bernardo put over a penalty goal six minutes later to extend the lead to 8-0. Oliver Thomas pulled three points back for the home side before Pirates full back Adryan Winnan went over for the Pirates second try and a 13-3 lead. James Moore put the Pirates further ahead with a penalty goal after taking over the kicking from Di Bernardo who went off injured to send the visitors in 16-3 ahead at the break.

Two tries in the opening 10 minutes of the half took the Pirates clear and secured the bonus point as winger Lewis Vinnicombe and flanker Chris Cracknell touched down, Moore converted them both and they were 30-3 ahead. Both sides managed a couple of tries each after this as the Pirates ran out comfortable winners and climbed to third place in the table.

Waterloo 21 (Tries: Erskine 2 (31, 77), Ince (68). Cons: Loader 2, Erskine.)  

Nottingham 37 (Tries: Loney (4), Nirmalendran (16), Jackson (24), Penalty try (60), Sandhu (73). Cons: Barlow 3. Pens: Barlow (42), Thompson (70).    

Nottingham pick up an excellent away win at bottom of the table Waterloo and join ninth placed Exeter Chiefs on 35 points.

Three tries in the opening 24 minutes saw the visitors go 19-0 ahead as flanker Alex Loney, full back Rohan Nirmalendran and wing David Jackson went over for tries and Tom Barlow put over a couple of conversions.

Just after the half hour mark scrum half Chad Erskine went over for the home side and Dan Loader converted in what was the final score of the half.

Barlow put over a penalty early in the second half and on the hour mark Nottingham secured the bonus point when they were awarded a penalty try and went 29-7 ahead.

Hooker Peter Ince got a second Waterloo try but a penalty from Ben Thompson and another try from Navdeep Sandhu saw them move 37-14 ahead after 73 minutes. Erskine did complete a double with a late try for Waterloo but they remain five points adrift at the bottom of the table after suffering their 13^th defeat of the season.

Newbury 29 (Tries: Rees (47), Penalty try (58), Walsh (66), Roberts (69), Carter (73). Cons: Walsh 2.)   

London Welsh 15 (Pens: Ulph 5 (2, 4, 7, 14, 65).  

Newbury turned round a 12-0 half time deficit to pick up their seventh win of the season. 

Sam Ulph kicked four first half penalty goals for the Welsh from four attempts.

Seven minutes into the second half and the home side were off the mark as winger David Rees touched down. Just before the hour mark they were level after they were awarded a penalty try and Tim Walsh converted. Ulph kicked a fifth penalty goal to give the Welsh the lead again on 65 minutes but soon after Newbury were in front for the first time as Walsh went over for a try to make it 17-15 after 66 minutes.

Three minutes later full back Mal Roberts went over for his 11^th try of the season and he has now scored tries in eight successive matches and is two short of the record for the division and that made the score 22-15.

They sealed the win on 73 minutes when they got a fifth try as prop Simon Carter went over and Walsh converted. .

Coventry 24 (Tries: Russell (27), Dixon (30). Con: Russell. Pens: Russell 4 (12, 22, 35, 57.)   

Exeter Chiefs 21 (Tries: Jenkins 2 (39, 47). Con: Yapp. Pens: Yapp 3 (3, 63, 67).  

Coventry move above Exeter Chiefs into eighth place after this narrow home win.

Tony Yapp gave the Chiefs and early lead with a penalty goal but two Ben Russell penalty goals saw the home side lead 6-3 after 22 minutes.

Two minutes later and Russell went over for the games first try and an 11-3 lead. Right wing George Dixon got a second Coventry try on the half hour mark and Russell converted this one to take the home side 18-3 clear and Russell made it 21-3 shortly after with his third penalty of the match. Just before the break Chiefs hooker Simon Jenkins went over for a try and they went in 21-8 down.

Seven minutes into the second half and Jenkins got a second try and this time Yapp converted to make it 21-15.

Russell made it a two score lead with a fourth penalty goal on 57 minutes. Yapp added two penalty goals on 63 and 67 minutes to close the gap two just three points in what were the final scores of the match.  

Sedgley Park 10 (Tries: Skurr (34), Jope (48).   

Bedford Blues 8 (Try: Johnson (73). Pen: Pritchard (26).  

Great win for Sedgley Park who now move up to 13^th place in the table whilst Bedford Blues continue to fall off the pace at an alarming rate. . 

James Pritchard put the Blues ahead on 26 minutes with a penalty goal but the homeside took the lead on 34 minutes when No 8 Jon Skurr went over for an unconverted try and they took the 5-3 lead into the half time break.

Eight minutes into the second half and the home side got a second try as right wing Ledu Jope touched down and they were 10-3 ahead.

The Blues did finally manage to cross the home line on 73 minutes when replacement hooker Chris Johnson touched down but Pritchard could not tie the scores with the conversion and Park took the win and picked up four very valuable points.  

Doncaster 12 (Pens: Woodrow 3 (12, 26, 54). DG: Woodrow (17).   

Plymouth Albion 8 (Try: Saumi (80). Pen: Neethling (23).  

Doncaster move above Plymouth Albion into fourth pace in the table after this narrow home win over Albion.

Mark Woodrow gave the home side a 12^th minute lead with a penalty goal and made it 6-0 with a 17^th minute drop goal.

Wihan Neethling pulled three points back for Albion on 23 minutes with a penalty goal but a second Woodrow penalty goal saw the home side go in at the break 9-3 ahead.

14 minutes into the second half and Woodrow extended the lead with a third penalty goal.

The visitors did mange to score the games only try in the 80^th minute when replacement back Nat Saumi touched down to give them a losing bonus point.

Otley 3 (Pen: Brown (13).   

Earth Titans 47 (Tries: Penalty try (24), Tuohy (51), Bedford 2 (54, 61), Allen (65), McCormish (72), Hennessy (80). Cons: Steenson 4, Whitehead 2.).  

After a close first half the Titans ran out comfortable winners to keep the pressure on the leaders running in six second half tries.

In the first half Otley took the lead when Andy Brown put over a 13^th minute penalty goal. The Titans got the games opening try when they were awarded a 24^th minute penalty try by referee Ashley Rowden.

Four tries in a 14 minute spell in the second half put the visitors in control as they built up a 33-3 lead as scrum half Joe Bedford, with a double, wing Brian Tuohy and centre Tom Allen went over for tries and all Gareth Steenson converted three of them and the bonus point was secured.

They ran in two more tries in the last ten minutes as No 8 Michael McCormish and centre Bernard Hennessy went in and full back Mike Whitehead added the extras. .

Leeds Tykes 27 (Tries: Hepworth (36), Tuilagi (62), Hughes (78), Rauluni (79). Cons: Welding 2. Pen: Vasey (53).     

Pertemps Bees 10 (Try: Tuohy (46). Con: Higgins. Pen: Higgins (58).  

Leeds Tykes maintained top spot after taking all five points in this home win over the Pertemps Bees at Headingley.

It took till the 36^th minute for the first score of the match as centre Johnny Hepworth touched down for the Tykes and they went in at the break just 5-0 ahead.

Six minutes into the second half and the Bees were in front after a try from flanker Dan Tuohy and Jon Higgins converted.

The lead lasted seven minutes before Richard Vasey put over a penalty goal to give the Tykes a one point lead 8-7.   

Five minutes later and the Bees were back in front after Higgins put over a penalty goal.

Just after the hour mark and Leeds were back in the lead after replacement Andy Tuilagi went over and Richard Welding converted.

They did not seal the win till late on when they scored two tries in a minute, to also claim the bonus point, as wing Chris Hughes and scrum half Jacob Raulini touched down on 78 and 79 minutes.
