The Earth Titans go top of the table after this away win at the Pertemps Bees and with Plymouth Albion losing at Exeter Chiefs.

Full back Matt Nutthal put the home side in front with a penalty goal in the 15^th minute. But three minutes later the Titans were level with Gareth Steenson putting one over for the visitors.

The Titans went in for their first try on 25 minutes when flanker Neil Cochrane touched down and Steenson converted for 10-3. The other flanker Hendrie Fourie got the second Titans try with half time approaching and with Steenson again on target they went in 17-3 ahead.

Nutthal did manage a second penalty goal on 48 minutes but three minutes later and the Titans were 24-6 ahead after right wing Brian Tuohy went over and Steenson added the extras.

They secured the win and the four try bonus point on 75 minutes when No 8 Jannie Bornman went in to make it one each for the back row and with Steenson again on target they were 31-6 ahead.        

Coventry 20 (Tries: Dixon (39), Tonkin (58). Cons: Russell 2. Pens: Russell 2 (18, 51). 

London Welsh 27 (Tries: Shaw (24), Ulph (35), Hayward (75). Cons: Ulph 3. Pens: Ulph 2 (62, 70). 

Second away win of the season for the Welsh coming good in the final quarter.

The home side were first on the scoreboard with Ben Russell putting over a penalty goal in the 18^th minute. Six minutes later and the Welsh were in front with scrum half Robbie Shaw going in for his first try for the club and Sam Ulph converted to make it 7-3. Five minutes before the break and Ulph went over and converted to give the visitors a 14-3 lead.

Just before half time though Coventry managed to get over the Welsh line with right wing George Dixon going in and Russell converted to leave them trailing by four at the interval.     

Russell narrowed it to a point 11 minutes into the second half and then on 57 minutes they took the lead with second row Louis Tonkin going in and Russell again converting.

Two Ulph penalty goals in the 62^nd and 70^th minutes saw the sides level.

On 75 minutes the Welsh got the winning score with centre Duncan Hayward going in for a try and Ulph again on target with his fifth successive kick after missing his opening penalty attempt.  

Doncaster Knights 23 (Tries: Forster (25), Wilson (73). Cons: Woodrow 2. Pens: Woodrow 3 (7, 16, 23). 

Cornish Pirates 29 (Tries: Cattle (1), Roke (55). Cons: Di Bernardo 2. Pens: di Bernardo 5 (10, 30, 49, 52, 66). 

Excellent away win for the Cornish Pirates at Doncaster coming back from a half time deficit to take the win with Alberto Di Bernardo again key with 19 points. That takes him to 100 points in just six matches the first player in the top nine divisions to reach this milestone this season.    

Captain and scrum half Gavin Cattle went over for the games opening try in the first minute and with Di Bernardo on target they Pirates were 7-0 ahead.

Six minutes later and Mark Woodrow pulled three points back for the home side and with two more he pulled it back to 10-9 with Di Bernardo kicking one for the visitors.

The home side took the lead when flanker Jason Forster went over for his 9^th try of the season and Woodrow converted to make it 16-10. Before the break Di Bernardo pulled three points back for the visitors.

After the break DI Bernardo put two more penalties over and the Pirates were 19-16 ahead. Duncan Roke went in for the second Pirates try and with Di Bernardo again on target they were 26-16 ahead. Di Bernardo put over his fifth penalty goal in the 66^th minute and they were 29-16 ahead.

Doncaster did manage a second try with No 8 Glen Wilson going over in the 73^rd minute and Woodrow converted to get hem within a score. The defeat sees Doncaster drop to fifth in the table and the Pirates are up to sixth place.

Exeter Chiefs 18 (Tries: Baxter 2 (42, 49). Con: Yapp. Pens: Yapp 2 (21, 54). 

Plymouth Albion 14 (Tries: Sestaret (10), Oxley (17). Cons: Neethling 2.). 

In front of a bumper 5733 crowd at the Sandy Park Stadium Exeter Chiefs came back from a 14-3 half time deficit to send the Albion to their first defeat of the season.

Albion with two tries in the opening 17 minutes opened up a 124-0 lead with tries form wing Nicholas Sestaret and hooker Richard Oxley and both were converted by Wihan Neethling.     

Tony Yapp pulled three points back for the home side on 21 minutes in the final score of the half.

Two tries form No 8 Richard Baxter changed the games in the opening nine minutes of the second half and with Yapp converting the first of these the Chiefs were 15-14 ahead.

Yapp nudged them four points in front with a 54^th minute penalty goal and that was the end of the scoring with the last 26 minutes scoreless.

Newbury 19 (Tries: Hayter (25), Penalty try (72), Brown (75). Cons: Walsh 2. 

Nottingham 18 (Tries: Morley (37), Hopkins (78). Con: Barlow. Pens: Barlow 2 (4, 39)  

Just what the Dr ordered for Newbury with this narrow home win over Nottingham which moves them up to 13^th in the division.     

Tom Barlow put the visitors ahead with a 4^th minute penalty goal and it stayed that way till the 25^th minute when the home side went ahead. They scored the games opening try with second row Gregor Hayter touching down but Tim Walsh missed the conversion. Late in the first half Nottingham second row Lee Morley touched down and Barlow converted and then two minutes later put over a penalty goal to send the visitors in 13-5 ahead.

It took 32 minutes of the second half for the games next score with the referee awarding the home side a penalty try and Walsh added the extras to make it a 13-12 game.

Three minutes later and Newbury were in front with No 8 Tom Brown going over the home line and with Wash converting they were six points up 19-13.

Nottingham though responded almost immediately and prop Ryan Hopkins went over for a try but Barlow could not add what would have been the match winning conversion.  

Otley 16 (Try: Back (43). Binns. Pens: Binns 3 (19, 33, 62). 

Moseley 13 (Try: Caves (80). Con: Thomas. Pens: Thomas 2 (26, 40). 

Otley picked up a narrow home win to move into 9^th place in the league table.

Simon Binns got the first points on the board with a penalty goal in the 19^th minute which was cancelled out by Ollie Thomas seven minutes later, Both players added a further penalty goal each and the sides went in at the break at 6 all.

Three minutes into the second half and the home side were over the Moseley try line with second row Brendan Back going in and Binns converted. He gave the home side a 10 point lead with a 62^nd minute penalty goal.

Moseley did finally manage to cross the home line when hooker Adam Caves went over and Thomas converted in the 80^th minute. This was the third losing bonus point picked up by Moseley in their five defeats.          

Waterloo 13 (Try: McKay (54). Con: Loader. Pens: Loader 2 (22, 38) 

Bedford Blues 42 (Tries: Varndell (11), Dickson (36), Pritchard (42), Johnson (62), Cole (66), Staten (67), Lewis (79). Cons: Pritchard 2. Pen: Pritchard (2). 

Bedford Blues are up into second place in the league table after this away win at Waterloo who slip to a fifth defeat of the season in six matches.

James Pritchard kicked the visitors ahead with a 2^nd minute penalty goal before Tom Varndell made it two tries in tow matches in the 11^th minute as the Blues went 10-8 up. Dan Loader pulled three points back for the home side on 22minutes.   

With half time approaching Karl Dickson making a rare start at scrum half went over for a second Blues try and Pritchard converted to make it 17-3 although just before the break Loader pulled another three points back for the home side.

Two minutes into the second half and the Blues were in for try number three with Pritchard touching down.

Waterloo did manage to cross the Blues line when No 8 Rory McKay went in for a 54^th minute try and Loader converted.

The fourth quarter belonged to the visitors as they ran in four unconverted tries to secure a comfortable win and pick up a fifth four try bonus point in six outings.

Leeds Tykes 35 (Tries: Hepworth (21), Myall (38), Welding (52), Humphreys (80). Cons: Hinton 3. Pens: Hinton 3 (33, 44, 65) 

Sedgley Park 20 (Tries: Hall (19), Skurr (26). Cons: Jones 2. Pens: Jones 2 (11, 60). 

Leeds Tykes made it five in a row with this home win over Sedgley Park and are now up to 4^th in the table.

Sedgley Park gave them a tough match and at half time it was all square at 17 all.

Park got the better start and were 10-0 up at the end of the first quarter after right wing Chris Hall went over for a try on 19 minutes which Phil Jones converted to add to an earlier penalty goal.  

Two minutes later and the Tykes were on the scoreboard with a try from Johnny Hepworth playing in the centre this week and Leigh Hinton added the conversion. Five minutes later though Park were 17-7 in front with No 8 Jon Skurr touching down and Jones adding the extras.

Hinton pulled three points back with a penalty goal and when he converted a 38^th minute try from second row Kearnan Myall the sides were level and that was the half time score.

Four minutes into the second half and the home side were in front for the first time in the match with Hinton putting over a penalty goal.

Former Park wing Richard Welding then got the third Tykes try on 52 minutes to give Leeds an eight point lead.

Jones and Hinton exchanged penalty goals but the Tykes did not seal the win till the 80^th minute when on loan Ian Humphreys, from Leicester Tigers, went over for a try and the four try bonus point after coming on as a replacement and Hinton converted.
