Reading could stick with the same side or make a few changes as they attempt to put right a fairly disappointing start to the season at home to Plymouth.

Dave Kitson could come in for Kevin Doyle, with Leroy Lita holding his place after a strong performance and his first goal for the club on Saturday. Steve Coppell could also decide to go with the 4-3-3 formation he has tested in pre-season in an aggressive and attacking response to a poor performance in our last fixture. This could see all three strikers start, or Bobby Convey or Glenn Little taking up a more advanced position.

More likely will be the straight-forward 4-4-2 with Lita and Kitson up front. As for the rest of the line-up Coppell is likely to stick with the same personnel as at the weekend. Alternatively he might wish to utilize the defensive qualities of new signing Stephen Hunt to compensate for our defensive weakness against Plymouth and replace more attacking winger Bobby Convey. John Oster could also come
in on either flank to debut.

The back five, however, should remain unchanged with no one in particular having a bad game and Ibrahima Sonko once again looking like a solid prospect for years to come. Coppell will most likely be hunting for another centre-back as he still has only Sonko and Ingimarsson to choose from at centre-half. In midfield Brynar
Gunarsson is still out.

Brighton could also be unchanged and have new signing Federico Turienzo and 'keeper Michel Kuipers out with minor injuries. Other than that Mark McGhee has no other problems and all his other new signings should feature again.
