Reading are hot on the heels of Wigan and Ipswich at the top of the Championship and with Nottingham Forest at the other end of the table this game should be a well contested affair.

TEAM NEWS

Glen Little should return after an accident on the stairs and a hamstring strain. Andy Hughes will also be available, but Dean Morgan may well retain his place out wide keeping Hughes sidelined.

Forest will give Adam Nowland his home debut, and Andy Reid could return from injury to face the Royals.

Doubts for Forest are Andy Impey, Kris Commons, Kevin James and Mattieu Louis-Jean.

FORM GUIDE

The Royals will want to keep up with Wigan and Ipswich and above the chasing pack around the play-off zone. A victory this weekend would set the team up nicely for next weeks crucial encounter with the Latics - especially if the Royals were to go top this weekend.

After two wins at home an away win at Forest would put the defeat at Coventry and following draw at Plymouth well in the past.

Nottingham Forest have taken just a point from their last five games, they currently lie in the relegation zone with only Rotherham below them.
