Royals Chairman John Madejski last night starred on the 1st of a 7 part BBC 2 documentary called "Football Diaries".He gave an insight into being a chairman of a 1st Divsion club and his opinion of how the finances are within the game.

Reading Chairman John Madejski last night appeared on the BBC 2 Documentary "Football Diaries" as he gave an insight into being a football chairman.

This was the first of a 7 part series looking at the Beautiful game in our country. Yesterday's episode looked at the Chelsea takeover with exclusive interview's with Ivar Ingimarsson's International team mate Eidur Gudjonsson and England defender John Terry. It also had football agent Sky Andrew along with the takeover by journalist Ian Ridley at his local club Weymouth. Ex Millwall striker Steve Claridge is the Player-Manager at Weymouth.

Madejski gave him opinions on chairman's, the finances within the game and a bit about his personal life. This included a brief tour round his mansion. We also saw his car collection.

At this moment in time, it is not yet known if Madejski appears on anymore episodes.
