Reading have agreed an undisclosed fee with Sheffield Wednesday for the permanent signing of Lloyd Owusu to the Madejski Stadium. He is now set for talks with the Royals where there is thought not to be any problems with agreeing personal terms. Lloyd Owusu has become a key member in Reading's bid to get a Play-Off spot especially since the injury to Nicky Forster. A fee has been agreed with the Yorkshire side who are eager to cut the huge wage bill in order to decrease the huge debt the club find themselves at this time.

Owusu was given a change to resurrect his career when Steve Coppell bought him to Reading for initially a one-month loan. He proved to be an instant hit with the fans and has since scored four goals, two of which came in Saturdays two all draw away at Crystal Palace.

Though after Saturday's game with Stoke City, Owusu faces a three-match ban after his sending off at Preston North End over a week back now. He will return for Royals crunch match against West Ham United on 3rd April.
