Alan Pardew has decided to call off the prosposed transfer of David Conally to Reading because there was a lack of progress. It was believed that the forward is holding out for a move to either Forest of Sunderland. Alan Pardew will be in a hurry to find a new striker before the start of the season after the deal to sign David Connally was called off.
