Reports today suggest that Fulham have offered £3,000,000 to take the services of Emile Heskey away from recently relegated Birmingham City , Meanwhile the Blues are reportedly battling it out to sign a vetran defender. Heskey to Fulham?

£3,000,000 offered from Fulham for Emile Heskey, also reports suggest that french champions Lyon are interested in the big man`s services the 6` 2" striker looks set to leave Brummie after 2 seasons at the club, i`am not a big fan of Heskey and would like to see him leave the club for 3 million as it could help us to land reported target Jason Roberts who has one hell of a scoring record in the championship.

New reports suggest that money grabbimh Heskey is unlikely to move to fulham as they cannot afford his high transfer demands.


Weir set for Birmingham?

Meanwhile Birmingham City are in a battle with West Brom for David Weir`s services after his release from Everton, Although the 36 year-old is a commanding figure at the back has he still got what it takes? Birmingham City are looking to strengthen there Back-line but would Weir suit us? Personally i would go for someone like Julian Lescott (If his transfer to Everton collapses) who could command a trasfer fee of 4 million but is definatley one for the future while still doing the job now.
