On 26th December 2005 the blues fight on with an away battle expected against the High-flying Tottenham, who are tipped for great things!, just not against the mighty blues!
The game promises to be a battle , the blues have no new injury worries with the current list at :-
Mehdi Nafti
Mehdi underwent surgery after tearing his cruciate ligament in a friendly game against Deportivo la Coruna on August 5. He is expected to miss most of the 2005/06 season.
Mikael Forssell
Mikael strained his thigh in training. He is expected to return to sometime during December.
Muzzy Izzet
Muzzy damaged his hamstring during the West Ham game. He is likely to be out of action for at least four weeks.
Mario Melchiot
Mario damaged his thigh during the West Ham game andis expected to be unavailable for three or four weeks.
Martin Taylor
Martin twisted his ankle during the West Ham game. His injury does not appear to be as bad as first feared and he may be available for the Fulham game.
And Tottenham have a near full squad to choose from. will birmingham be able to turn the form book on its head when these two sides meet at white hart lane with the current form table looking like (premiership form):-
TOTTENHAM -DWWWD
BLUES - WLWLLL
28th august 2004 will remind Blues fans of the one goal thriller where Tottenham scraped a one-nil win courtesy of jermain defoe in the 35th minute.
