The bid from Real Mallorca is believe to be £805,000 which really birmingham should laugh off, Pandiani who joined last season has scored one goal in 16 games. Since joining Walter pandiani has been a huge dissapointment and a huge waste of money , with the bid of £805,000 which angerd most blues fans, has been accepted and pandiani is expected to have a fitness test in birmingham with the mallorca officials conducting the test. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY, WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!

Bruce denies the bid has already been accepted and Brucey said:

Bruce said: "We have had two or three enquiries for Pandiani. With Walter not in the team, this speculation is going to be with every club.

"We've received an offer from Real Mallorca. It's one we are looking at but there is going to be no decision made just yet.

"The one thing that you don't want to do is be losing players but I'm also mindful of the fact that I might have to generate a bit of cash myself.

"I might have to do a bit of wheeling and dealing so there are big decisions to be made with that one."

As for Pandiani's form, Bruce said: "I'm not going to go over the top in criticising Walter. I brought him here and I thought he did excellently for us last season. He gave us a huge lift. I like his personality and he is a good footballer.

"I thought he would get better, the longer he was here and unfortunately it hasn't quite happened this season which does occur. That's football.

"I haven't spoken to him about the Mallorca offer. I am sure he is aware of it through his agents. He has never come to me and said he is unhappy but this offer has come in and we will sit down and see what develops."

A reaction of Paul Scharner`s transfer to Wigan this is what big Brucie had to say,

Bruce said: "He was my number one target. The disappointment is we have chased him and worked extremely hard on the deal for the best part of five months. But he has gone elsewhere so we will have to see what else is available.

"It happens. I could have beaten myself up over it for six or eight years but it will not be the first rejection I get and it won't be the last.

"Wigan are flying high at the moment. They are in the Carling Cup and have got a chance to get into Europe. They stole a march on us, got the player over and signed him."
