Young Birmingham City midfielder Neil Kilkenny has today extended his loan deal at Oldham Athletic for a second month. Kilkenny will now stay at Boundary Park until the end of January after impressing during his current deal.

Blues midfielder Neil Kilkenny will remain at Oldham Athletic for a second month after the two clubs agreed to extend his deal.

Kilkenny has made a big impression at Boundary park scoring four goals in six games and is enjoying getting first team experience with Brian Talbot's team. Kilkenny will hope to help Oldham pull away from the Coca-Cola League One relegation zone and also put himself into contention for the England Under 21's squad for the upcoming games.

Blues do have an option to recall Kilkenny at any time during his loan should there be any injuries in the center of midfield.
