Young blues goalkeeper Colin Doyle has joined League Two side Chester City on a months loan deal. Doyle will act as cover for regular keeper Chris McKenzie as Chester's current back up keeper Wayne Brown has been sidelined with a foot injury.

19 year old Doyle has yet to play for Steve Bruce's team but is considered a good young keeper who could move into the squad when Nico Vaesen and Ian Bennett move on due to age. Chester City manager Ian Rush will hope the youngster wont have to make any starts for his club but if McKenzie was to pick up a knock Doyle is more than capable of filling in.
